Indian Vizagapatam set.
An Indian Export Vizagapatam ivory chess set circa 1840, one side stained red, the other side left natural, the chessmen with pierced multi-foliate decoration, kings and queens with galleries, queens with feather finials, bishops with mitres, knights as horsemen, rooks as turrets, pawns with baluster knops, the king 13cm high, the pawn 7.6cm high, in a fine Vizagapatam ivory.

This chess set is my pride and joy. Maybe not the most valuable but the most beautiful set of my collection. I just love it !
