Emmanuel Chess sets
German Uhlig
Set by Uhlig from ca. 1900 - the heyday of this principal Borstendorf in the Erzgebirge manufactury. White almost ivory-like bone. This is an early version confirmed by the shape of the knight and quality that changed in 1938. This is also a big one with a 8.5 cm king. Other sets usually have only 7 or 8 cm kings. These chess sets are fragile. This one is in perfect condition which is rare.
Large Uhlig bone set
The king is 8 cms, which is very rare for such a set. Here it is displayed on a real ivory / ebony chess board with a contemporary HCC German clock.
Large Uhlig bone set
All pieces are in perfect condition.
