This chess set is a Burmese ''type'' but according to many experts it has been made in China for the English market. Some expertes are even more precise and says that it has been made in Canton in the middle of the 19th century.
This set is in Ivory. King is 9 cms high. The set is presented on an English chessboard of the same period.
